DeFreeze Calf Hoodie pattern so you can make some to keep your calves from getting frostbitten ears. We use a Below 24 rule, below 24 hrs old & below 24 degrees = wear the hoodie for 24 hours (or til ears are dry and warm). It keeps their ears against their head and helps them stay warm until they dry off. Its best to make it with Luxe Fleece it is soft, warm, thick, and moisture resistant. Or regular fleece if you can't find the luxe kind. Stretchy and fit our black Angus calves with birth weights from 60-85 lbs.
